Vertex was once again commissioned by EIG to design a new and advanced power meter, featuring an integrated touch screen and modular options for customization based on client needs. The primary objective of this project was to expand EIG's meter family while aligning with the new product identity of their product line.

Vertex's industrial designers ensured that the design of this new large-scale meter harmonized with the Shark meter appearance of other models in the line. All parts and assembly components were meticulously designed and engineered by Vertex for injection molding, prioritizing ease of manufacture and assembly. To expedite time-to-market delivery and reduce production costs, common parts were utilized from the Shark product line.

The Nexus™ 1500 Meter represents the pinnacle of monitoring products, providing comprehensive insights into power usage and quality within a power distribution network. Its advanced functionality empowers users to make informed power-related decisions swiftly and effectively.

With EIG's exclusive Total Web Solutions, users can monitor their Nexus™ 1500 Meter remotely, anytime and from anywhere, via the Internet. This project marks the sixth full-scale collaboration between Vertex and EIG, showcasing a longstanding partnership dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions in power metering technology.
