Halm Jet Press: Modular Enclosure & Brand Modernization

Vertex was commissioned by Halm Industries Inc. to modernize their line of high-speed printing presses. The primary goal was to refresh the appearance of legacy models and align them with the sleek, high-tech aesthetics of the Jet EM and EM SuperJet series.

Cross-Platform Modular Strategy

To maximize manufacturing efficiency, our engineers devised a modular strategy that allowed a single design language to scale across the entire product range.

• Universal Cover Design — Engineered a system where covers for smaller presses were adapted to fit larger 4 and 5-color machines, significantly reducing unique part counts and tooling costs.
• Unified Brand Identity — Maintained visual consistency across the entire series, from two-color to five-color models, creating a strong, modern presence for the new product line.
• Modernized Industrial Aesthetics — Transitioned from legacy "industrial-block" styling to a streamlined, professional look that reflects the precision of the underlying technology.
